Pitching and sand wedges to get the ball up and out higher and softer

If you have difficulty with the bunker blast, the F2 wedges just may help. The F2s are different from standard models in that the hosel sits more toward the rear of the sole, placing the leading edge and a significant portion of the face in front of the hosel. This design facilitates a flatter arc through the sand and the ability to loft the ball from the bunker. The Face Forward design also prevents sand or long grass from grabbing the hosel and altering the position of the clubface. - For those who fear bunkers, the F2 is worth a try.

Macgregor sand and pitching wedges - If you don't like the look of the V-FOIL Tour wedge, then you're not a golfer. Oozing class and craftsmanship, this traditional yet modern wedge is beset with several innovative design features, number one being the company's V-FOIL technology that places more directed mass under the ball for easy lift and greater forgiveness. Extra playability is added via a heavily cambered sole and a rolled leading edge that creates a continuous curved surface with reduced bounce for extra-crisp contact.

Mizuno wedges: Clubhead: Carbon steel Clubface: Same Design: Forged blade Size: Standard Clubs: 5176°, 53°/8° GW; 56°/10°, 56°/13°, 58°/10° SW; 60°/5°, 60°/8°. Very few companies can forge golf equipment like Mizuno. Its now-legendary Grain Flow Forging technique produces some of the purest irons in golf. The forged MP Series of wedges are no slouches either. In fact, they're some of the most coveted around, thanks to advanced craftsmanship and quality of construction.

The successful MP lineup is joined this year by seven MP-T Series wedges, available in a Black Nickel finish or in an unplated Raw Haze model (pictured), complete with a multi-hued tint that will rust over time. The MP-T wedges carry on the rich MP tradition, this time with a Tour-preferred teardrop head shape and multiple loft/bounce combinations.

Nike - Tigerwoods - Clubhead: Carbon steel Clubface: Same Design: Forged blade Size: Standard Clubs: 48°/10° PW; 50°/10°, 53°/9° GW; 55°/12°, 56°/14°, 56°/16°, 58°/14°, 58716° SW; 60°/9°, 62°/9° LW (53°, 56°/14°, 58°/14°, 60°).

Like all of Nike Golf's wedges, the new TW line is carefully forged from carbon steel for Tour-level feel, response and playability. What gives these clubs an additional edge is that they're the first signature club from Tiger Woods. These wedges differ slightly in design from Nike Golf's Forged line in that they feature a pronounced muscle section toward the trailing edge of the club head and, of course, Tiger's recognizable shield logo. A special heel grind as well as a cutaway heel remove unwanted bounce and greatly increase the chance of crisp contact.

Callaway forged irons - The classic Callaway wedges feature a unique sole grind to help golfers from a variety of lies. A greater face area and more centered scoring lines create a great look at address while modified U-grooves channel water and sand off the hitting area. The carbon steel used in these wedges is among the softest-feeling metals that Callaway has ever used in a club.
